How billing works
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. HBCU.bio never stores your card details.
- Paid memberships renew automatically until you cancel, and receipts come from Stripe.
- Upgrade, switch billing period, or cancel any time from “Manage my subscription”.
- One-time purchases (featured events, listings, sponsorships, cards) do not renew.
What is still being configured
- Stripe must be in live mode with your own keys before charging real cards.
- The Stripe billing portal needs to be switched on once in your Stripe dashboard before “Manage my subscription” opens.
- NFC card encoding and shipping are handled by our team after payment clears.
